Tamar Braxton’s Rep Releases Official Statement to PEOPLE, Confirms Divorce From Vincent Herbert
Earlier today, reports of Tamar Braxton ‘allegedly’ filing for a divorce from her husband of almost nine years, Vincent Herbert, hit the internet, and everyone went crazy. Being that these rumors had been swirling for awhile, no one was sure what to believe, exactly. However, it seems that these rumors have been confirmed. Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert are, indeed, getting a divorce.
In an interview with PEOPLE, a few months back, Braxton had actually suggested that things were seemingly getting on track between the two, despite the reported marital issues.
“Things are great. Things are amazing,” she boasted. “It’s marriage, so today it could be amazing and tomorrow it could be a bumpy road, but we’re in it to win it.”
As we mentioned earlier, Braxton had even retired from music to work on her marriage. But, unfortunately, somewhere along the way, things must have taken an unexpected turn.
Today, Tamar Braxton’s rep released an official statement to PEOPLE, regarding the divorce rumors, and here’s what it read: “At this time, we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision and has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert. Collectively, their son Logan and his well-being during this extremely unfortunate process is most important. We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone’s love and prayers.”
Season five of Tamar & Vince is set to premiere on November 9th, at 9/8c, exclusively on WE TV. The future status of the show is still unknown.
