Tyrese Gibson’s Child Abuse Investigation Closed, Reports Confirmed

Tyrese Gibson No Longer Under Investigation For Child Abuse

Lately, it’s been rough for Fast & Furious actor and singer Tyrese Gibson, as we just recently learned that Gibson was under investigation for child abuse, due to claims made by the mother of his 10-year-old daughter and ex-wife, Norma Mitchell. However, reports have just confirmed that the investigation is now officially closed.

Prior to his court appearance, this past Wednesday, Gibson took to his social media to express his thoughts on the whole situation, and it ended in a gut-wrenching breakdown. But, though things had gotten extremely low for Gibson, it seems that the highs actually weren’t too far away.

According to The Blast, The Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services has closed its investigations and all allegations are now legally ceased. Reps of Gibson also revealed that there won’t be any criminal charges pinned upon him, either.

We’re sure that this is quite the relief for Gibson. Yesterday, the Los Angeles native went on Instagram, sending huge thank yous to Russell Simmons and Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith for their words of encouragement.
