LA native Nipsey Hussle has teamed up with Kendrick Lamar, YG and Diddy for his debut studio LP. The Nipsey Hussle Victory Lap album was released on February 16.
The album features 14 tracks, along with a bonus track titled “Right Hand to God.” Neighborhood Nip incorporates Kendrick Lamar, CeeLo Green, Puff Daddy, YG, The-Dream, Buddy, Stacy Barthe, TeeFlii and Marsha Ambrosius for this new project. YG linked up on “Last Time I Checc’d” which is a single of the album. “Rap Niggas” was another single off the coming album.
This will be the first album by Nipsey Hussle to be released under a major label. The Rollin 60’s Crip was independent for majority of his career turning down label offers left and right. Recently his imprint All Money In signed a partnership with Atlantic Records for a multi-million dollar deal. This partnership can help elevate the rapper to new heights allowing his music to reach more people.
His 10 Rings documentary is available on Tidal, which tells his moves through the music industry and the business decisions he made that got him here.
