When you hear the voice of Kodie Shane, you hear an unorthodox melody not heard before. She is a 19-year-old lady rapper hailing from the city of Atlanta. This femcee with curly hair, usually worn in a box braid hairstyle, is the first lady of Lil Yachty’s Sailing Team.

Recently, Kodie Shane teamed up with rapper Trippie Redd for her new song, “Love & Drugz II”, a track produced by Oz and Jacob Reske. “Love & Drugz II” is a follow up to “Love & Drugz”, also a previous collaboration from Kodie and Trippie. The video for “Love & Drugz II” was also released, a futuristic animation that finds the duo on a mission battling demons and robots.

“Love & Drugz II” is the first single off Kodie’s upcoming debut studio album, expecting to drop this fall via Epic Records.

Kodie Shane has always been rapping, yet she took it serious in 2016 when she released her debut EP Zero Gravity. Featured on Zero Gravity included “Drip On My Walk” and “Sad”, a fan-favorite that featured Lil Yachty, helping it to get millions of steams on Spotify.

Not stopping with her music creation, she released a seven-track EP titled Back From The Future in 2017 then followed it with a ten-track mixtape called Big Trouble Little Jupiter in 2018.

The bubbling star is receiving praise from different magazines and media outlets, quickly becoming an artist to watch for in 2018. Get ready, it’s a new lady rapper in town.
