Brandon, Ronnie, Emmett, and Kevin are back for the season 2 of The Chi. The highly anticipated crime-drama will premiere on Sunday, April 7 at 10 PM ET/PT only on Showtime. Get ready for The Chi season 2!
The Chi (short for Chicago) serializes the life of a group of residents after a murder takes place in the South Side neighborhood of Chicago that connects the group. This show was created by Emmy Award winner Lena Waithe, and also she is an executive producer of this show with rapper Common. The show stars Jason Mitchell as Brandon, Jacob Latimore as Emmett, Alex Hibbert as Kevin, and Ronnie played by Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine.
Season 1 made its debut on January 7, 2018, and since then has generally received favorable reviews. Rotten Tomatoes gave The Chi a ‘certified fresh’ rating. If you haven’t already, check out the first episode of the series, directed by Rick Famuyiwa, on the Showtime website.
