[STREAM] Davido Unveils Long Awaited Sophomore Album, ‘A Good Time’

Nigerian bred world music artist Davido has released his new album, A Good Time.  The album dropped on November 22nd via DMW/ Sony Music UK and RCA Records. The Davido A Good Time album is his sophomore album, his first since 2012’s Omo Baba Olowo.

Davido got his solo buzz going when he released “Dami Duro” in 2011 and the song would become a smash hit for the aforementioned album, Omo Baba Olowo. Davido would later release a remix of the song with Akon.

On instagram discussing the new album, Davido said:
It’s been a long 7 years. A lot has transpired in my life since my debut album ‘Genesis’, and I, David Adeleke (aka Davido) have gone through a process of immense changes and growth. In sad times I lost close family and friends (RIP) and in my happiest times I’ve created lives (Imade, Hailey & David Jr). I fell in love and got engaged to my PHENOMENAL fiancé, Chioma. I’ve fought battles of all kinds and on all fronts: spiritual, physical, mental, emotional even political.
With less than 48 hours left of the 7 year wait for the album of the century; A Good Time reflects on the ability to trust the timing of your life, enjoying the best moments & persevering through the worst ones. There’s no time like the present and it’s A Good Time to be alive, to be a PROUD AFRICAN and to fight for the freedom of one another – in unity. This is my album cover art and it reflects the culmination of my 7 year journey in audio/visual form.

The Atlanta born singer has released a video for a new brand new song titled “Risky” featuring Popcaan.

“Risky” is the follow-up single to “Blow My Mind,” which features Chris Brown.

The Davido A Good Time album will have some high profile features such as Summer Walker, Gunna, A-Boogie and more. A lot of people hope Davido delivers on this album considering there are a lot of fans who feel this type of sound has been lacking over the last several years.
