[FIRST LOOK] Wendy Williams’ Documentary Coming To Lifetime

Lifetime Television is set to profile The Queen of All Media in an upcoming full-length documentary.  Officially titled, Wendy Williams: What a Mess!, the Wendy Williams Documentary will be revealed later this month, on January 30th at 10pm/9c.

What a Mess! is not to be confused with the 2024 Wendy Williams documentary, which is also set to air on Lifetime.  Where is Wendy Williams? is the latest most recent documentary, which takes a look at the deteriorating life of Wendy Williams since her talk show ended after 13 seasons.

Wendy Williams Documentary synopsis:

In this feature length doc, Wendy Williams, the self-anointed Queen of all Media, sheds her private persona and speaks directly to the camera, discussing every inch of joy and humiliation she has experienced since childhood. From her apartment in Manhattan, we’re with Wendy during the course of her divorce, as she deals with being a ‘Hot Topic’ and finds a way to right her ship again. It’s a raw, no holds barred look with never-before heard truths about Wendy’s notorious feuds with celebrities, her shocking divorce, her childhood and the private darkness she has endured. This is the story of a self-made woman who finds herself at the start of a new life, uncertain of the future, but ready to reclaim her crown.

Wendy Williams: The Movie

A Wendy Williams movie will also premiere prior to the documentary.  Starring Ciera Payton, Wendy Williams: The Movie airs at January 30th at 8pm/7c.
