In spite of what has been going on in his personal life, Tory Lanez continues to release good music. Led by the new single, “Feels” featuring Chris Brown, the Tory Lanez Playboy capsule features 12 new R&B songs from the rapper-singer.
Playboy comes just a couple months after he released Loner, a capsule filled with new Hip-Hop songs. He teased then that he would be releasing several of these. The Tory Lanez Playboy capsule was released on March 5th.
The aforementioned lead single, “Feels” is the latest collaboration between Tory and Chris Brown. The pair also released a visual for the track.
Of the new capsule, Tory Lanez said:
“Emotionally, I was able to flow creatively. Some of my best creations come out when I’m vulnerable,” he describes. This is best characterized in “Deceiving Eve,” the track he felt the most vulnerable of the project. “This is me being as honest as I can be on a record,” he shared, adding, “For the first time in a long time, I was writing R&B from a place of hurt and vulnerability, Unlike a lot of my other R&B which is based on the pure vibe and catchy melodies.”
