BET Her is set to premiere two original films as part of The Waiting Room Season 3. The anthology series originally premiered in 2019 with original stories of women dealing with breast cancer and the realities that come with a diagnosis. The title comes from the idea of sitting in the waiting room, waiting to hear if you have the diagnosis.
The Waiting Room Season 3 will highlight two stories with two films. They will premiere on Saturday, October 9th at 9pm on BET Her. The first is ‘The Party‘ starring Michelle Mitchenor, directed by Yvette Nicole Brown.
The second is ‘It Takes Two” starring Eva Marcille, directed by Ta’Rhonda Jones.
In The Party, she is preparing for life after cancer with a party, only to find out that the cancer has returned. Now she has to battle telling everyone once again that she has cancer.
In It Takes Two, she is diagnosed for the first time, but has stage two breast cancer and has to face that battle head on.
