Baton Rouge native Slim Baby is establishing herself as the next big thing out of Louisiana, following the success of many before her. After previously releasing the single, “Lost My Mind” as a solo track, the rapper is bringing it back with a remix featuring legendary rapper Boosie Badazz. The Slim Baby Lost My Mind remix is fresh heat coming out the South from a female rapper who is in a mold that is all her own.
The original Lost My Mind by Slim Baby was actually released in 2019, gaining traction, but not blowing the lid off things like it should have. With the current trend of music being rediscovered, in the same way Doja Cat revived a single from years prior through the Tik Tok Silhouette Challenge, Slim Baby polished off this hit with a familiar face.
Released earlier this month, the Boosie Badazz verse is going viral, with many noticing the stylings of Slim Baby and wondering what’s next for the rapper. If the Slim Baby Lost My Mind remix is any indication, it only goes up from here.
Clearly with the support from Boosie Badazz, Slim Baby has a bright future in Hip-Hop.
