The internet has had a lot to say about Latto lately, and she’s tired of it.
Around midnight, the acclaimed rapstress took to her Twitter account to address the recent fat-shaming that she’s had to endure online.
“I’m getting off birth control lol,” she wrote. “I’m sick of y’all telling me I’m gaining weight. That sh*t hurt my feelings fr.”
The tweet seemingly came after a user on Instagram DMed her, making cruel comments about her weight. Latto then responded by posting a screenshot of the girl’s message in her stories, prompting her fans to clap back.
Latto also posted another story, speaking on the scrutiny she’s received.
Cyberbullying is never okay, and it’s honestly sad that not only celebrities but women, as a whole, have to be picked apart for something that’s human nature.
However, it’s clear that Latto isn’t too bothered. The accomplished lyricist just recently released her second studio album, 777, a remix to her Mariah Carey sample, “Big Energy,” which featured the queen herself.
Sis is also on tour doing her thing right now, and we couldn’t be even more inspired!
