“Ye” formerly known as Kanye West signs NBA star Jaylen Brown to Donda Sports.
Unknown to few, Kanye West launched his sporting agency earlier this year. Reports revealed that Donda’s first NBA player was Jaylen. He was the first to sign with Donda Sports and will be proudly representing the brand.
Kanye has been attempting to sign a lot of major athletes to the brand. Hse said, “We’re just excited about the Donda Sports brand, and making this thing a competitive sports brand to the athletes.”
Aaron Donald of the NFL recently signed with Donda Sports in a deal that could lead toward other big signings. Donald also complimented Ye for taking Donda Sports seriously: “Donda Sports is something close to him, obviously, with his mother and everything. So he definitely wants this to be something that’s top tier and something he’s serious about.”
According to sources, Ye and Brown have been close for a long time, but things became official after West attended the Warriors vs. Celtics game in March. The two posed together after the game, and Brown was later seen wearing a Donda Sports hoodie while hanging out with A$AP Ferg.
“I don’t think there’s a lot of fashion lines for athletes, wearing fashionable and comfortable clothes, so with a guy like Kanye West, being able to partner with him and work with him to provide more creative, genius ideas for fashion looks for athletes in general… I’m just grateful for the opportunity here soon, to share what we’ve got with the world. And you guys are hearing it first, we got some exciting things to look forward to this year.”
