P-Valley Season 2! Meet the Cast – We Got Some New Faces

Are you excited to watch P-Valley Season 2? We are! P-Valley is a fictionalized show created by Katori Hall about a strip club called The Pynk in the Mississippi Delta. The show focuses on the characters’ lives as it pertains to The Pynk and how the strip club interconnects with the fabric of the entire town. The show scored 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, which isn’t easy.  Here’s your chance to meet the cast of P-Valley season 2.

Season 1 of P Valley was everything and more. We can’t wait to see what Uncle Clifford and ’em got goin’ on down at the Pynk for P Valley Season 2! If you haven’t watched the show yet, here is the cast of P-Valley with new faces.

Nicco Annan

Nicco Annan plays Uncle Clifford in P Valley.  Nicco is part of the original cast of P-Valley when it was just a play. He had to audition for the part but let’s be real…. who else could play Uncle Clifford besides Nicco? He also starred on the shows This Is Us (2016) and Half Sisters (2014) and Netflix’s show, Family Reunion. Follow him on Instagram.

Elarica Johnson

Elarica Johnson plays Autumn. Elarica was born in London, England. The first role she landed was in the movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. She was the Black girl at the cafe in the beginning of the movie who told Harry what time she got off work so he can tell her all about ‘that tosser Harry Potter’.  Elarica was also in Blade Runner 2049 and A Discovery of Witches. Brandee Evans

Brandee Evans plays Mercedes. Before she played Mercedes, Brandee was the Chair of the English Department at Southwind High School in Memphis. She choreographed for Monica, Ledisi, and others. She even toured with Katy Perry!  She’s the current CEO of the Hip Hop In Heels® Fitness Platform that focuses on women’s empowerment and is a caregiver for her mother. Brandee also starred in Dear Santa – I Need a Date, Lethal Weapon, The Bobby Brown Story, and Games People Play. She’s also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Shannon Thornton

Shannon Thornton plays Miss Mississippi (crooked letter, crooked letter). Shannon was also featured in television shows FBI, Blue Bloods, Rise, Power and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Shannon is also an artist. She has done paintings of celebrities and athletes like Michael Jackson and Odell Backhan Jr. Follow her on Instagram.

J. Alphonse Nicholson

J. Alphonse Nicholson plays Lil Murda. He’s also been in Self-Made – Madam CJ Walker story on Netflix, Blue Bloods, Mr. Robot Season 2, Shots Fired, Marvel’s Luke Cage, Tales, The Blacklist and Chicago PD to name a few. When he’s not acting, he’s a father, husband, artist and street drummer. He also has his own merchandise line called #SteadyGrind. Follow him on Instagram.

Parker Sawyers

Parker Sawyers plays Andre Watkins. Parker played Obama in Southside with You and has starred in Big Game and The Mummy. He was also part of the BBC drama World on Fire about the lives of people impacted by World War II. When he’s not acting, Parker is a proud father and dog owner. Follow him on Instagram.

Tyler Lepley

Tyler Lepley plays Diamond, the Pynk’s bouncer. He is an actor known for roles in Baggage Claim, The Haves and the Have Nots, Slaughter On, Slumber Party and Slaughter 2. Tyler is half Italian and half Jamaican. He’s expecting a child with actress Miracle Watts. Follow him on Instagram.

Harriet D. Foy

Harriet D. Foy stars as Patrice Woodbine, Mercedes’s mom and minister. Harriet has starred in other shows such as Collateral Beauty, Winter’s Tale, Billions, Orange is the New Black, Rescue Me and Law & Order. She has also performed on Broadway. Morocco Omari

Morocco Omari plays Big L. Morocco has starred in 21 Bridges with Chadwick Boseman and the TV show, Homeland. He also starred in the show, Empire, with Terrance Howard and Taraji P. Henson.

Dan J. Johnson

Dan J. Johnson plays Corbin Kyle. Dan has starred in Underemployed, Chicago Fire and Switched at Birth. When he’s not acting he enjoys being a husband, father, and surfer. You can learn more about him on his Instagram.

Psalms Salazar

Psalms Salazar plays a new dancer at the Pynk name Whisper. Psalms is of African American, Puerto Rican and Native American descent.  She landed her first lead role in the dark drama, Girl Lost: A Hollywood Story. Psalm’s also a model and Texas native. You can follow her on Instagram.

Gail Bean

Gail Bean plays a new dancer at the Pynk name Roulette. Gail Bean is an actress and writer, known for starring in The Belko Experiment, Snowfall and Unexpected. She was born in St. Louis, MO and graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting. Follow her on Instagram.
