Stormzy gets “flustered” as he takes on the role of football pundit to air his view on Manchester United’s 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Old Trafford.

The UK rapper and entertainer Stormzy admitted that he was feeling “a bit flustered” when given the mic at Old Trafford to offer some commentary on Manchester United’s latest match.

‘I like it so far. Sorry I’m a bit flustered right now. I’ve never met these lot before,’ he confessed after being asked about what the rapper feels about Manchester United’s new coach. He continued, ‘We were just walking past and we were starstruck and someone gave me a mic and I’m up here like, “Mum, I made it.”’

‘This is sick though. Man’s on telly with the boys,’ Stormzy said.

It was a nice time for Stormzy who had called his nephews to join him while he chatted with the former footballers.

When asked about his opinion on Cristiano Ronaldo being dropped from United’s starting line-up, the rapper said, “You know what it is with Ronaldo; I feel that when he’s that great, you can’t speak on him man.” He continued, “You’ve just got to let the man be great, do you know what I mean? There’s been a bit of a fuss, but that’s a GOAT [greatest of all time]. You just have to let the GOAT be the GOATs.”

At the end of the interview, Stormzy appreciated the privilege he was given. “You’ve made my whole year with this. Thank you, man. Appreciate it. See you at Glasto,” he said.
