Yes you read that right, Marshall Mathers AKA Eminem has an EGO (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar). Along with Dr. Dre’s All Star cast, he now has an Emmy to add to his many lists of accolades. The Super Bowl half time show which featured Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent & Eminem won an Emmy for outstanding variety special at the awards show on Sunday. All performers on the night can now add an Emmy to their own list of awards won.
For Eminem, he is currently at EGO status. Emmy, Grammy(s) & Oscar. To get the famous EGOT title he will now have to win a Tony award which is for theatrical and stage. Who’s up for a 8 Mile musical?
Many believe that the Eminem EGOT status will happen eventually. He would join recent EGOT Jennifer Hudson, John Legend and the 15 other EGOT members.
