The tension following PNB Rock’s death seems to remain, and rappers like Kodak Black is not taking any chances – learning from his colleague’s unfortunate demise. In a video shared by HollywoodUnlocked on it’s Instagram page Tuesday morning, Kodak Black could be seen blasting a fan for recording him.

The clip was dark but one could clearly hear what was being said.

“Aye, check it out, man. Don’t record me, bro. What you doing?” The “No Flockin” tells a fan in the clip. “You on Live, but you just put the phone to my car, homie. Don’t do that … You tripping, boy. Come on, homie. You tripping. You don’t see that shit that happened to PnB [Rock]? You don’t see that shit that just happened to PnB Rock, homie? So why you recording me? … God forbid, some crazy shit [happen]. Then what? Come on, man. You tripping.”

This is coming after fans blamed PNB’s girlfriend’s social media posts as the reason he was robbed and gunned down in Los Angeles. Nicki Minaj had also taken to Twitter to address the issue while offering her condolences. “After Pop Smoke, there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????! He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick. Jesus,” she tweeted.

Kodak Black also reacted to the news of PnB Rock’s death on his Instagram Story,

“Big jets. Only jets anyways. Mannn I been low all day due to a headache I had earlier so I’m just getting to the news RF,” Kodak wrote. “Ion usually speak on deaths! Go to funerals or nun kuz life goes on, but, SMH. PnB was my boy, I was jus OTP wit em last night! We be talkin bout him comin back out & poppin his shit again in this rap shit.”

The rapper also appeared to put the blame for PnB Rock’s death on the late rapper’s girlfriend. “That h** might as well kill herself,” he wrote. Although he received much backlash for the “insensitive statement,” it was seemingly from the same spirit that he thought the need to stop the fan trying to record him.
