If you listed your worn underwear on eBay, how much money do you think you’d make? Sounds absurd, but hip hop star Latto did just that and raked in almost 6 figures. The “Muwop” rapper listed her “used” cheetah thong for sale on the famed marketplace, which ignited a bidding war that got up to nearly $100,000. Over the weekend, Latto‘s underpants received heavy criticism when someone on Twitter put her on blast for wearing the same panties in two different pictures. “Oh no, it’s the panty police,” the “Sex Lies” spitter said in response.
On Monday (January 30), Latto added on to her response by posting a video showing fans the inside of her underwear drawer and disclosing that she had plans to “wear a pair today and sell them tomorrow.” While rustling through her drawer in a video, the “Youngest N Richest” rapper posted to her Instagram Stories: “In light of my panty discrepancy yesterday, I’ve decided to give you guys an inside look on my panty drawer. These are all my Target panties that caused such a discrepancy yesterday. $5 at Target, here’s the cheetah stash.”

Latto proved she wasn’t capping and later posted an eBay auction link of her cheetah undergarment — starting the bid at $0.99. The item’s description stated: “Latto’s everyday cheetah print panties. Used. As seen on Latto multiple times.” Bidding shot up fast, reaching tens of thousands of dollars after only a few hours. After more than 100 bids, the price climb up to a staggering $95,650. The “No Hook” rapper should have cashed in the $95K when she had the chance though, because due to policy violation eBay removed the auction.
Replying to a person who flagged the eyepopping listing, eBay’s Customer Service page explained via Twitter: “Used underwear is not allowed on site please report any listings you see in breach of policy.” As far as the panties auction being taken down, Latto has yet to publicly respond. Prior to the auction’s removal, however, the “Spend It” rapper posted her underwear “prolly smell like a Frappuccino.”
