When aspiring musical superstar Sam (played by Chloe Bailey) is forced to join her cousin Jessica’s (played by Anjelika Washington) struggling, underdog praise team in the lead-up to a national championship competition, she sees an opportunity to finally make her dreams come true as a pop star!
With plenty of eye candy and competition to go around, Sam uses her songwriting skills and musical talents to help give the praise team a winning edge and boost their chances of standing out against the competition.
Faced with the opposition of being labeled a “church girl” pining for the riches of the world, Sam must find a way to keep her dream alive! Inspired by a meeting with Quavo (who plays Ty), Sam sets out to prove that everyone can have praise!
