‘1266’ cast brings out the realness and the comedy in this new tv show that is starring Gabourey Sidibe.
The show is set to air on Hulu, although there has not been an official debut.
You might ask yourself who is Gabourey Sidibe, well many of you may know her from the the movie ‘Precious’.
But she has also been in Empire, Tower Heist, Antebellum and many others.
‘1266’ focuses on the character Gabby Dixion (Gabourey Sidibe) who is living with her mother and wants to become a model/singer but somehow gets into the gig of phone sex.
The show is set in the 2000s with the character Gabby Dixon being in her 20s.
Gabourey Sidibe is the executive producer of this comedy show and she has created a cast that is out of this world.
This show will have some of the most amazing actors and actresses.

In Gabourey’s book, This is Just My Face: Try Not to Stare, she mentioned how she was a phone sex operator when she was 21 years old.
In the memoir, that was released in 2017 she states, “I wasn’t a virgin but I certainly wasn’t some hot temptress who knew what to do with a hard cock. I didn’t know what to do with it in person and I didn’t know what to do with it in a white-male fantasy. I mean, damn!”
So the show is based on real-life events that took place during that time.
