Drake may be the happy owner of a renowned white glove with crystal embellishments worn by the late Michael Jackson.
On October 17 (Monday), Drake equaled the record set by Michael Jackson for the most No. 1 songs by a male solo artist on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
The 6 God posted three pictures of himself sporting a glove that resembles Jackson’s original item to commemorate the achievement on social media. In addition, Drizzy shared a tweet about his success on his Instagram Story.
Atop the post, the OVO boss wrote, “‘Sicko Mode’ technically made 14 but they didn’t count my feature so we got work to do.”
He showed a picture of himself holding a wine glass in a sparkled gloved hand in an additional Instagram Story.
Drake Pays Home to Michael Jackson
The infamous Swarovski crystal-encrusted glove that Michael Jackson famously wore while performing “Billie Jean” in 1983 at the Grammy Awards and throughout his Victory Tour (1984) looks to be the glove in question.
Drake posted an image of a little Aubrey dressed as Michael Jackson in another post.
The “5AM in Toronto” rapper also shared a Photoshopped image of Jackson donning an OVO sweatshirt, along with another image of him grinning widely while displaying the same glove. Another photo of him rocking the bling glove and clutching a martini glass was also released.

Bill Whitten, the late fashion designer, molded the sparkly glove for Michael Jackson, and it has been auctioned off numerous times. It was sold to Los Angeles enthusiast and collector Wanda Kelley for $190,000 back in 2010.
The glove was put back up for auction in February of last year and sold for $123,000 that same month.
Drizzy has a history of purchasing artifacts that belonged to well-known celebrities. He shelled out $2.5 million for a collection of Pharrell’s vintage jewels that the groundbreaking producer had auctioned off in January. The “Sneakin’” hitmaker also dropped well over $1 million back in July for a bespoke ring that formerly belonged to late rap legend Tupac Shakur.
