Actress Lauren London is set to receive half of late rapper Nipsey Hussle’s estate on behalf of their son Kross.
According to the Blast, Nipsey Hussle’s brother Blacc Sam recently submitted his final accounting report which revealed the rapper’s estate’s assets. The report revealed that the estate has a total of $11 million with almost $7 million of it in several bank accounts. Meanwhile, $4 million is reportedly in interest of various companies, a 2012 Chevy Suburban worth $17k, and other things.
Blacc Sam also revealed that Nipsey Hussle’s two kids–his daughter Emani with ex-Tanisha Foster and his son Kross with Lauren London–are his only beneficiaries and that they will divide the assets 50/50. Kross’ mom, Lauren, will receive a portion of the assets on his behalf, making her part-owner of Nipsey’s business ventures.
Kross will also reportedly be getting an additional $113,000 to offset payments made for Emani’s schooling and healthcare.
The report comes after a judge awarded Nipsey’s family guardianship of Emani, as they alleged that her mother wasn’t a fit parent. Tanisha had reportedly been trying to gain more rights over the 14-year-old following her father’s family being granted physical custody of her.
Tanisha previously claimed that Nipsey’s family used “their financial position and influence” to gain custody of Emani. “I have continued to be an active part of Emani’s life…She spends the night with me often. I take her to school, and I continue to do the things a parent would do with their child,” she said in her petition. “I am very unhappy that the guardians will not take my calls. They have blocked me on their cell phones. I have to go through a third party or Emani to communicate with the guardians.”
Tanisha was reportedly granted more visitation rights with Emani during a court hearing in September.
Lauren on the other hand, has been laying low, as the actress hasn’t been posting on social media or popping out on the scene as of late.
