On June 9, the Power: Book II actor appeared as a guest on Tylil’ stream. During the livestream, Tylil’s sister approached Michael and, in an unsettling moment, groped him while whispering something in his ear (per TMZ). This interaction led to visible discomfort from the actor, who attempted to push her hand away and eventually left the stream.

Michael later addressed the incident on social media, expressing his shock and distress over the incident. He emphasized that such actions are never acceptable, regardless of the victim’s gender or celebrity status.

“At this point everyone has seen the video circulating online,” Michael wrote in a statement posted to Instagram. “I am still in shock and don’t full know how to process what happened last night. This is an unfortunate situation that I do not condone in any way. I can’t take it lightly because I know I would be in serious trouble if the roles were reversed.” Rainey has been vocal about the importance of addressing sexual harassment, underscoring that respect and boundaries are essential for everyone, including public figures.

For his part, Michael has not revealed whether he plans to take legal action. Michael appeared to be looking to move past the controversy, as he had not spoken about the incident since June 11. Meanwhile, Tylil has returned to streaming, and he has kept his promise to exclude his sister from the streams. For her part, Tylil sister has not publicly addressed the scandal, despite growing pressure. Nonetheless, it seems as if the Power star wants to move pass the ordeal.
