Not much can be said about the music and fashion icon Rihanna that hasn’t already been said. From winning 9 Grammy Awards, 12 Billboard Music Awards, 13 American Music Awards (including the Icon Award), and 7 MTV Video Music Awards (including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award), to being the “best selling digital artist of all time,” with more than 100 million RIAA gold and platinum song certifications.  Let’s take a look at 35 timeless Rihanna songs that were top hits and are still bops.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty born February 20, 1988, is the Barbadian singer, actress, and businesswoman. Born in Saint Michael and raised in Bridgetown, Barbados, Rihanna auditioned for American record producer Evan Rogers who invited her to the United States to record demo tapes. After signing with Def Jam Records in 2005, she soon gained recognition with the release of her first two studio albums, Music of the Sun, released in 2005 and A Girl Like Me, released in 2006, both of which were influenced by Caribbean music and peaked within the top ten of the US Billboard 200 chart.

I personally became a Rihanna fan around 2009 with the release of her third studio album Rated R. Every single song on that album was a banger, it was one of my first R&B no-skip albums, right up there with Beyonce’s Dangerously in Love and Musiq Soulchild’s Juslisen.
