Bringing that feminine energy is one of the things that makes these women stand out. Black female superheroes with enhanced weapons, superhuman strength and abilities represent the power we all want to see in us. They provide an escape for a little while and allow us to close our eyes and play pretend. I pretend that I’m Storm creating a weather symphony. Or Sister Night making sure to get the bad guy no matter what it takes. Be it that we admire magical powers or vigilantism, black female superheroes always kick butt.
