Heart & Hustle: Houston season 1 cast, along with its trailer and premiere date on OWN, has been revealed and is here to keep viewers hooked. With the release of its official trailer introducing the all-Black cast, the show is set to share the journey of these ladies navigating work and motherhood while maintaining a successful home and romantic relationship.
This series is about six strong, independent women who are not just succeeding in their careers, but also juggling other things in life. They are the epitome of ‘can do it all’! The show will follow their day-to-day life as a mom, wife, and CEO. The cast members of Heat and Hustle Houston by OWN include Alaina Saulsberry, Chloe Cook, La’Torria Lemon, LeBrina Jackson, Muneera Page and Roe Pichardo.
President of OWN, Tina Perry, spoke about the show and explained that it is not just another reality series, but is here to bring a new perspective to how Black women are viewed by society. Regarding the show, she said it is “one that centers Black women not just in conflict, but in community, healing, and growth.” She emphasized that “it’s a powerful look at ambition, resilience, and the bonds that hold friendships together, even through life’s toughest moments.”
Jesse Collins Entertainment is credited as the producer of the OWN series, who is also behind works like Netflix’s Rhythm & Flow, and Real Husbands of Hollywood, among others. Alaina Saulsberry
Alaina Saulsberry, known as “H-Town’s Glam Girl,” is the CEO of the beauty brand Color du Jour. With a mission to inspire and educate young talent in the industry, she is a mentor to aspiring makeup artists. She also appeared in the show “Uncensored” in 2018.
In addition to her career, she is a lovely wife and mother of two children. While juggling these responsibilities may seem challenging to others, she makes it look effortless. With nearly 15 years of marriage, she will share her experiences and insights on the show.
Chloe Cook
Chloe Cook also known as “The Straight Shooter,” is a popular event planner, a job she loves but had to step away from after loosing her husband. She has appeared in for Stasis (2017), Cheating the Camera (2016) and Leading Ladies (2010).
As a single mother to two daughters and a son, she has faced her share of challenges. Her journey to finding love again after losing her husband is a story of resilience and hope. Her son does not seem happy with her new relationship with a younger man. Will she find a way around this or sacrifice her happiness due to pressure from others?
La’Torria Lemon
La’Torria Lemon, also nicknamed “The Hopeless Romantic,” is the owner of her award-winning company, Lemon-Lime Light Media. She is also a Publicist and recognised in the Top 50 Entrepreneurs in Texas.
She is someone who takes her work seriously, starting her career at the young age of 19, and she has made a name for herself in the industry. Not only that, but she spends her free time doing philanthropy work and enjoys giving back to the community. She yearns for love, but only for the right person.
LeBrina Jackson
LeBrina Jackson also known as “The Southern Belle,” is a wife and mother of 2, a son and daughter. She works as an equestrian and a spa owner, a perfect blend of physical health, beauty, and wellness. Her Spa, Escape Spa, focuses on helping clients relax.
She also owns Winners Circle Equine, a horse breeding brand that sells equestrian or agricultural products. Additionally, she serves as a mentor to young women, fostering innovative thinking and transformation. She is the perfect addition to the cast of Heart & Hustle Houston Season 1.
Muneera Page
Muneera Page is “Mrs. Perfect,” and has spent 20 years as an electrical engineer in the oil and gas industry. However, she found her feet in the world of content creation and has been exploring it ever since. She is a wife and mother to four amazing daughters. Her goal is to build a legacy her family would be proud of.
Despite being born in Saudi Arabia to an Indian and African American Father, her grit and resilience have paved a path that has led her here. Following the release of the Heart & Hustle Houston Season 1 trailer, she shared an appreciative message to the team for allowing her to share her journey.
Roe Pichardo
Roe Pichardo is the “Nightlife Queen” and is a hardworking, goal oriented overachieving lady. She works as an event curator for business dinners, birthday parties, and more. She also works as a business & hospitality consultant who helps out thriving businesses through her company, Organized Chaos Group.
As a single mom, the journey has not been a smooth ride, especially with prying eyes, forcing her to act tough on the outside. This rough facade has protected her and served as a shield in both her professional life, particularly in a male-dominated field, and her personal life.
