Starz announced that the popular series ‘Power’ is getting a prequel titled ‘Power: Origins’. The new prequel series, Origins, will be the next spinoff to join the other three spinoffs of the drama series, ‘Power’.

The first spinoff, ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ follows the character Ghost, ending at 4 seasons. “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” the second Power spinoff, follows the crime life of Kanan Stark. Season 4 finale aired on May 16, 2025, and subsequently, Season 5 was announced, stating it would be the final season. “Power Book IV: Force” is currently airing its third and final season, with the final episode scheduled to be on January 16, 2026.

The origin story is centered on Ghost and Tommy and will be an 18-episode series. The president of original programming for Starz, Kathryn Busby, said, “Our fans have been asking for Ghost and Tommy’s origin story since we first met them in ‘Power’ — and with the launch of this series, we’re delivering in a big way.”
