Award-winning artist Megan Thee Stallion and blogger Milagros have been in and out of court in a defamation battle, and if you know Megan, you know she is all about getting justice. Well, Megan also came out victorious after winning the defamation lawsuit after a year-long battle.
Social media has enabled the spread of information regardless of whether it is true or not. This lawsuit proves that people can be held accountable for what they say or share, urging the need for “responsible commentary on social media”.
Megan Thee Stallion first sued Milagros in October last year, in a case that is linked to Tory Lanez’s shooting in Los Angeles back on July 15, 2020. The WAP rapper stated that the whole issue made her suffer emotionally and mentally.

Who is Milagro?
Milagro Gramz, legally known as Milagro Cooper, got on Megan Thee Stallion’s bad records following her spread of information that counts as defamation of the rapper’s character. She was accused of spreading false and harmful misinformation on social media about Megan.
What did Megan Thee Stallion sue Milagro for?
The rapper made claims that accused the defendant, Milagro Gramz, of being a supporter of Tory Lanez, following the famous lawsuit with Lanez’s shooting. She says Milagro acted as a “mouthpiece,” a “puppet,” and a “paid surrogate” for Tory Lanez. In addition, the accused is also held accountable for sharing deepfake pornographic videos.
Did Megan Thee Stallion win the lawsuit?
The judgment was issued by a federal jury in the Southern District of Florida, which ruled in favor of Megan and against the blogger Milagro Gramz. The blogger was charged with three counts and found guilty of charges, including defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and promotion of an altered sexual depiction.
Florida law requires Milagro to reimburse Megan for legal fees and an additional $75,000, which was adjusted to $59,000.

Meanwhile, Megan admitted to living in fear, getting a restraining order against Lanez some months back. She confessed, “I feel like maybe he’ll shoot me again, and maybe this time I won’t make it.” Additionally, Lanez lost his appeal for a retrial last week.
