Where Will the Film Stream?

The Community movie was ordered to NBCUniversal, Peacock’s streaming service, and was announced in September 2022. The first five seasons of the original series were shown on NBC, therefore this represents a reunion with the organization. On Yahoo, the sixth and final season was streamed. Since the show’s run began in 2009 and ended in 2015, it has been over ten years since it ended, making the movie all the more welcome.

Who’s The Movie’s Cast?

As their respective characters (Jeff Winger, Ben Chang, Annie Eddison, Britta Perry, Dean Pelton, Abed Nadir, Shirley, and Troy), Ken Jeong, Alison Brie, Joel McHale, Jim Rash, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Donald Glover are all scheduled to return.

Chevy Chase won’t be taking part, though.

What’s The Film’s Storyline?

Harmon expressed in the same interview: “I don’t think it’s too much of a spoiler to say that the story would involve the gang getting back together.” Fans are still unsure of what that looks like, but it makes sense in terms of theme. As viewers will remember, the odd companions who made their acquaintances in a study group at Greendale Community College split up to pursue different career paths. Only a few of circumstances in life could bring them all back together.

No matter the circumstance, fans can anticipate seeing all of the characters onscreen at once, according to Harmon. “Because the thing that’s going to matter most to me as an audience member or to anybody who loved that show is seeing those people see each other… And they still love each other, and it’s not going to feel the same if you’re shooting them separately at different months in different locations,” he added.
