The latest Verzuz puts Fabolous vs Jadakiss against each other in a battle. Arguably two of the best lyricists and emcees out of New York, the two have dominated the Hip-Hop scene since they emerged in the late 90s.
A couple of years ago they joined forces for their Freddy vs Jason album and have collaborated several times in the past, so this doesn’t make for the most creative Verzuz battle and doesn’t feel like much of a competition at all. But, seems that’s the bigger goal of Verzuz, celebrating artists, who support each other from near or far.
