Envy: A Seven Deadly Sins Saga In The Deadly Sins Anthology Executive Produced By T.D Jakes Set To Air On Lifetime

Bishop TD James has been working hard to produce their second movie from The Seven Deadly Sins Anthology, Envy: A Seven Deadly Sins Saga. The movie which is based on the book Envy from The Seven Deadly Sins Anthology written by Victoria Christopher Murray is in production by TD Jakes, Derrick Williams, and Shaun Robinson who is serving as a first-time executive producer under the Broader Focus initiative.

Envy: A Deadly Sins Saga is set to air on Saturday, April 17th at 8 PM ET/PT a week after the first movie in this saga Lust: A Deadly Sins Saga (wt). The movie stars Serayah (Empire), Rose Rollins (The L Word), and Kandi Burruss (The Real Housewives of Atlanta).

This movie will focus on Gabrielle Flores (Rose Rollins) who has everything going for herself. She had a devoted husband, a beautiful daughter, and one of the greatest PR firms in the country. Gabrielle’s life changes when she finds out she has a half-sister, Keisha from her father’s side as a result of an affair. Despite Gabrielle welcoming Keisha into her life with open arms to build a sisterly bond, Keisha has other plans in mind. Keisha grew up without anything and doesn’t want to just be apart of her half-sister Gabrielle’s life to build a bond she wants to take it by any means necessary.

Viewers can also expect to see appearances by Donovan Christie Jr., Gregory Alan Williams, Da Brat, DC Young Fly, Clifton Powell, and Hosea Chanchez. The film is directed by Damon Lee from a script written by Nneka Gerstle.
