Earlier this year, Memphis-born rapper GloRilla hit the ground running with her viral hit “FNF (Let’s Go).”

The song instantly became the soundtrack of the summer, which ultimately led to her landing a deal with fellow Memphis native Yo Gotti’s CMG imprint.

However, before the craze surrounding her bop of the year, Big Glo was already getting it out of the mud and releasing music that many are just now hearing.

Recently, a Twitter user compared some of the 23-year-old’s older tracks to her newer ones and sparked conversation around the evolution of her rapping style.

“She literally changed her whole voice when she got on,” the tweeter wrote, attached a video of GloRilla’s previous raps compiled.

Of course, following the statement, others joined in and had a lot more to add to that. While some agreed, the majority disagreed.

If you didn’t know, Glorilla just recently released her single, “Blessed,” and a remix to her song “Tomorrow,” which featured Cardi B.
