Hijack, a suspenseful new thriller series that will debut on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, June 28 with the first two episodes, will star Idris Elba.

The seven-part series is told in real time and follows the path of a hijacked jet as it makes its way to London over the course of a seven-hour flight. It was created by Jim Field Smith (Criminal) and George Kay (Lupin).  If you are looking for Apple vouchers, go to Latest Deals.

Elba portrays Sam Nelson, a skilled business negotiator who jumps in and uses all his cunning to try and rescue the lives of the passengers, but his high-risk approach might be his downfall.

The preview (see it below) features Elba’s character saying, “It’s either us or them, and I can tell you, it’s not going to be us,” as he confronts the hijackers both vocally and physically in an effort to rescue the day.
