With Erica Mena, it’s something new everyday. There was her recent ‘Monkey’ slur incident with Love & Hip-Hop co-star, Spice, and of course there was the arrest a week or so ago. We finally have some more news of her arrest, which took place on August 25th. Apparently Erica Mena claimed to be pregnant to get out of the arrest… AND, she bit a cop!
We got news that the brawl during the arrest at the lounge was much uglier than what we saw on video and Erica had been at the center of it. According to the APD, Erica made pregnancy claims and allegedly bite an officer during her and Bambi’s arrest at the Atlanta Lounge.
It reportedly took a lot to restrain Erica, especially with Bambi Richardson, Zelleswag and another friend of theirs, all of whom were arrested for misdemeanor obstruction.
Erica’s Attorney, Drew Findlings has made it clear that Erica is not pregnant. He went on in her defense by saying:
“On behalf of Erica Mena, we will immediately start investigating the events of August 25, 2023. It is clear that this was an incident between citizens, private security and off-duty police officers that was not properly handled or de-escalated. We know this because the officer readily admits in his report that he punched a private citizen in the face 4 or 5 times and used unnecessary force against Erica as well. While Erica regrets some of the circumstances of that night, it is also important to understand the context and details of the incident so we will do our due diligence and review accordingly.”
Meanwhile fans are still processing her suspension or firing from Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta.
