Whew, it’s been a long Friday for Latto. After dropping her latest song “Sunday Service” and its accompanying music video, she responded to claims that the track is a full-blown diss record. More specifically, a diss record against Bronx femcee, Ice Spice.

Just a week ago Ice Spice called out Latto, increasing the heat on their back and forth.

Hours after the song and official video for it dropped, “Sunday Service” began trending online as many of Latto’s beloved fans and rap afficiandos were chattering about it on social media. While the track has gotten a widely good reception, some listeners are not feeling it at all. One critic in particular, veteran hip-hop artist Elliott Wilson, was one of those listeners.

“Damn Latto pulled a Big Foot,” Elliott tweeted, comparing Latto’s song to Nicki Minaj’s latest diss track aimed at Megan Thee Stallion. He continued calling her bars, “Mid diss raps.”

His conclusion arrived following speculation that Ice Spice and Latto have been beefing since Ice allegedly confirmed that her viral hit “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)” is about the “Put It On The Floor” musician.

The “Munch” rapper joined an X-space and said, “I put it out because b*tches were being funny that day. Like why am I in the background of your weak-ass snippet?” Her comment was allegedly in reference to a video clip that Latto posted with Ice’s video running in the background. Latto wasn’t having it however, as just a few days later, she was spotted pulling up to the Bronx causing fans to assume it was disrespect towards Ice.

“Who tf ever said it was a diss???” the Georgia native fired back at Elliott Wilson’s recent tweet regarding “Sunday Service.” “Video at noon I’m finna go live yallllll.”

Soon after, she went on live to clear the air and speak her truth.

“But y’all really got me fcked up,” she said while pointing at her screen. “And make sure when you take my clips from my live, post the right clip. Don’t piece my sht up to fit y’all narrative. Btch I’m not ducking no smoke, but I’m also not gon’ lie…I’m sorry it don’t fit y’all narrative. Anyways I’m on set and the music video is out now. Post the video. [Also] this is why I’m not doing no more interviews either…cuz I went sht get like, chopped up and it has you looking crazy like b*tch I don’t have to lie.”

Ice Spice hasn’t responded to the drama since popping into the X-space, but fans are eagerly waiting to see if she will. Stay tuned for more coverage on the alleged beef between Ice and Latto.
