The unsuspecting prey has no idea that he’s the center of attention. As he maneuvers around in ignorance, a capable cougar stalks and assesses. She understands her actions and knows her intentions.  With the prey identified, she positions herself for the pounce.  If successful, she’ll be the one being pounced later that night.
The cougar, also known as puma, mountain lion, mountain cat, catamount or panther is an extremely capable stalk-and-ambush predator.
In the wild, their prey vary from deer, elk, and moose, as well as domestic cattle, horses to sheep.  In the club or at a shopping mall, its prey ranges from 18 to 35 year old males.  The younger the better!  The simpler the sweeter!
So she’s a cougar!  Is that so bad?  Of course not!
Today, many women have rejected the obvious or predictable for the daring and exciting.  Instead of waiting on Mister Right, they have learned to appreciate Mister Right now.  From Demi Moore, Susan Sarandon to Rachel Welch and a host of others, cougars today are mainstream and in some corners they are celebrated.
The battle cry is “Get it Gurl”!
For years, men have enjoyed the company and pleasure of younger women.  So why shouldn’t women indulge themselves in the energy and spontaneity of youth?
But ladies, please keep it real!
Too many cougars tell their friends and family that “he” is so educated and very sincere, in a feeble attempt to explain the relationship.  But the truth is a major attraction of cougar relationships is the sexual component.
Most 40-something year old women experience a surge in their testosterone levels.  At the same time, they are more confident about their bodies and deep-rooted sexual desires. Unfortunately, most men their age are experiencing a dip in their testosterone levels, which tones down their libido.
Today’s women are no longer willing to accept “Johnnie Mack limp noodle”.  They see younger males as better capable to “knock the socks off” their midlife crisis.  Plus, the younger man is appreciative of her sexual openness and years of experience.  These mutually satisfying relationships are easily apparent to their peers, hence driving others to try it for themselves.
And so, let the games begin.
My thoughts are, “Get it Gurl”!
Just don’t hate on “Johnnie Mack limp noodle” when you see him with a 20 year old girl.
All is fair, in Love and War.
