Syleena Johnson is enjoying an exciting week for her career with the release of her latest album, Chapter 6: Couple’s Therapy. On Saturday night in New York City, Johnson performed two shows for her official NYC album release concerts, at SOBs. Performing most of the songs off the new album, Johnson gave the audience a soulful show for both shows. Always one to please, she also performed some of the classic hits of her career, such as “Hypnotiq,” “Slowly,” and “Tonight I’m Gonna Let Go,” while also taking requests for a couple of acapella songs as well. After each performance she took time to sign autographs for those with albums. The night didn’t disappoint, much like the new album doesn’t.
