Charles Hamilton Performs Unreleased Material at Parlé Event

Last March, on an isolated dark block in midtown Manhattan, Charles Hamilton made an appearance at a Parlé open mic event.  Generally known for our poetry events, the venue was a low key spot we called The Hidden Room because of the aforementioned seclusion.  Hamilton, a friend of Parlé from years ago when he was attending our open mics as a novice performer [and as a journalist] decided to stop by and jump on the mic, to share some of his new material.  At the time it was still pretty raw, but it makes for great footage.  Hamilton also performed a snippet of the song, “Writing In The Sky,” the bonus track of his critically acclaimed mixtape The Pink Lavalamp.
