We caught up with singer/songwriter Vivian Green in New York City recently to discuss her upcoming album, Vivid, produced entirely by Kwamé and due in stores on August 7th.  As part of our discussion we talked about her breakout hit, “Emotional Rollercoaster,” which was released when she was just 21 years old and featured on her debut album, A Love Story in 2002.  In this video Vivian tells us how the song came together, who it was about and how she feels when she hears the song now…

About Vivian Green: Vivian Sakiyyah Green is an American R&B singer-songwriter and pianist. She is currently 43 years old and was born on May 22, 1979, in East Oak Lane, Philadelphia, PA. Some of the labels she is signed with are E1 Music, Columbia, Caroline, Make Noise, and SoNo Recording Group. She has one child named Jordan Green and two siblings named Solomon Green and Sha Green. Some of her most popular songs are “Emotional Rollercoaster,” “Get Right Back to my Baby,” “Gotta Go Gotta Leave,” “Cursed,” “What Is Love?” and “Sweet Memory.”
