Marcella Precise is many things. A music producer, a songwriter, a voiceover actress, a recording artist and a head turner. Possibly the best summation would be, she is an illustration of music’s persistent & beautiful evolution.

The vibrant vocalist’s sound is a genre defying hybrid that personifies “Downtown Cool,” fusing nightlife subculture with electronic dance music’s raw energy, pop melodies & classic Hip-Hop attitude. Her ElectroChic sound is a veritable mashup of genre, life, art, beats & style. For this agent of change, a pair of heels are an instrument. Fabric, color, texture, vintage drum machines & social awareness are as much a part of her orchestra as cellos and violins.

As the creator of The YAAYYOU Inner Beauty/Outer Wellness Blogazine, via her own network of awesome motivators, Marcella’s positive perspective connected at the site with over 2.1 million views by people that “believe it’s okay to believe.” The inspirational audio book under the YAAYYOU brand will be at online outlets summer 2015.

Marcella is currently hard at work preparing to release music that will connect to the heart of the world through her album #TAFR,which includes the inspiring “Fly” (feat. Juliette Ashby) as heard on VH1/MTV (Love & Hip Hop/Mob Wives/Black Ink). #TAFR is an energy filled, fashion forward, socially aware piece of art that will find its place in that beautifully expansive evolution of hip hop music.

The Brooklyn, USA born “creative” started writing at an early age. Winning poetry and creative writing contests through grade school & high school. Realizing she had a way with words & a love for music, she studied digital production technique while in college obtaining her psychology degree. During this time Marcella was developing her skills as a composer & performer, taking her influences, like Missy Elliott, Gwen Stefani, & the Black Eyed Peas and using them to contour her own style. She explains, “My love affair with classic hip hop and pop was a big part of my development as an artist, producer and songwriter”. Trips abroad introduced her to EDM (Electronic Dance Music). That’s when her musical world opened up, “ I loved the textures and edginess of the vintage & digital synths,
and I felt a connection with the imaginative personalities that called that scene home”

With her musical world now expanded, Marcella decided to follow another passion of hers and began booking commercial, jingle & voiceover work including being chosen as one of the voices of the sassy “Sasha” on the BRATZ animated series.

Since making her way into the world of Billboard top 10’s and Grammy award nominations The BMI Pop Award winning songwriter has kept busy writing and producing as 1⁄2 of the production/Songwriting duo Lady And A Tramp with Partner Terence “TrampBaby” Abney.

An impressive discography followed that stretches genre to genre and includes working with household names like bad girl superstar rocker Pink, pop princesses Jordin Sparks& Stacie Orrico,R&B & Hip Hop legends Luther Vandross, Charlie Wilson & Naughty By Nature as well as new soul luminaries Jaheim, Musiq & Syleena Johnson. International superstars Madcon called in this talented team to work on 3 songs for their #1 selling album.

Lady And A Tramp’s movie music credits include but are not limited to The Cookout, Perfect Holiday and adding original music to Disney’s Princess Diaries as well as all the music for the hit Daytime talk show The Queen Latifah Show.

Marcella Precise created the PREMix series of internet only ep’s and remixes of Pop, Dance & R&B hits, including her hugely successful PREMixes of Nico & Vinz”Am I Wrong” (#BringBackOurGirls edit), Agnez Mo’s “Coke Bottle”(featuring TI and Timbaland), Mary J Blige’s “Just Fine” (featuring Marcella Precise, Lil Wayne & Swizz Beatz), and her extremely well received Janet Jackson x Marcella Precise series of mini PreMix Ep’s.

Yes, Marcella Precise IS many things, but one thing’s for sure, she’s enjoying doing it precisely how she wants.

*Marcella Precise is an Award winning Songwriter, recording artist, half of the production/songwriting duo, Lady and A Tramp along with her husband, Terence ‘Tramp’ Abney.

I had the pleasure of being able to listen to her YaaY You: Notes to Self. “It’s an audio conversation, a tool for women, thrive, FEEL capable and grow as they remember their greatness within”. It’s an audio that was inspired by her 2 million viewed blogazine- YaaY-You. When I listened to it, I was truly amazed. It is undeniably calming and serves a strong dose positivity. As you listen to the self-encouragement audio in the morning, you’ll agree that it leaves no room for anything less than the motivation to kick start a beautiful day.
