Tweet Set To Embark on The Charlene Tour
R&B songstress Tweet is scheduled to kick off The Charlene Tour this week. As if her road back to music hasn’t been exciting enough with the release of her well received third album, Charlene, she’s choosing a festive holiday to jump start her journey, Cinco De Mayo!
The singer, who teamed up with Missy Elliott and Timbaland back in 2003 to create the smash hit single “Oops (Oh My),” has resurfaced after a decade long hiatus. Prior to the release of Charlene this February, Tweet’s last album, It’s Me Again was released in 2005. Fans, old and new, are expected to flock to appearances sprinkled throughout the Midwest and southeast including the major cities of Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
Tweet’s Charlene album features the singles, “Magic” and “Won’t Hurt Me.”
May 28th – Washington, DC – The Howard Theatre
More dates to be announced soon.
Tweet will also be performing this summer at the 2016 Essence Festival in New Orleans.
