John Legend Enters The Grammy Discussion For Song of The Year with New Single, “Love Me Now” | Reveals Powerful Visual
R&B crooner John Legend is back with his new single and it’s going to be a problem for the rest of this year. The track, titled “Love Me Now” is one of of Legend’s biggest records to date and that’s saying something coming off his last album’s smash hit “All of Me”. The musicality of this song is a different pace for Legend, but he puts his soulful swag all over the track!
“Love Me Now” is written and produced by John Legend with Blake Mills (Alabama Shakes) and John Ryan (One Direction). Clearly, he was thinking about creating something big to lead off his next album. The upcoming project, his fifth solo album is titled Darkness And Light. More details to come on that.
Speaking on the song, Legend says: “’Love Me Now’ is all about living and loving to the fullest, no matter what tomorrow may bring. I’m so excited to finally share music from my new album! I’ve put a lot of love and energy into making this album special. I hope my fans can feel it.”

I like the lyrics a lot. Feel like it should be slower. Not really a fan of the Lion King sounding hook. He need to stick with ballads.
