Chris Brown’s ‘Welcome To My Life’ Documentary Hits Netflix

Welcome To My Life

Chris Brown’s Welcome To My Life Is Now Available To Stream On Netflix

It’s been four months since R&B songster Chris Brown debuted his compelling documentary film, Welcome To My Life. The hour and twenty-minute-long film had been in the works for awhile, and, after a lengthy production, it was finally unleashed onto the big screen. As we all know, throughout the years, Brown’s high-profile career also came with a controversial life being publicly played out for the whole world to see. Of course, the controversy sparked many formed opinions and passed judgments, as the front pages of various media outlets only seemed to fill with more rumors involving the 28-year-old. With the weight of the world on his shoulders, Chris Brown’s struggle to ‘reclaim his time’ hasn’t been the easiest, as he has had to continuously fight to bring all of the haunting headlines to silence. But, Brown decided that the fight was over, and it was time to speak out and go beyond the spotlight.

Welcome To My Life released on June 8th, 2017, premiering in select theaters across the United States. Though many thought they had known all there was to know to the Tappahannock, Virginia-born entertainer, there was still so much more behind the closed curtains. And, it’s safe to say, Brown certainly gave everyone an in-depth look at just how crazy things were on the other side of those curtains, too. This was the most vulnerable and personal the “Privacy” singer had ever been, opening himself up to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Directed by Andrew Sandler, Welcome To My Life reflected on Brown’s beginning years in the industry, flashback interviews, and the many trials and tribulations faced throughout his turbulent lifestyle. The film also featured commentary from Jennifer Lopez, Jamie Foxx, Usher, and DJ Khaled, among other close friends and fellow industry mates.

After hitting DVD and BluRay, back on August 8th, Brown has just recently announced, via Instagram, that Welcome To My Life has officially hit Netflix, exclusively available worldwide. The top streaming service is one of the most-watched in the world, and we’re happy to know that fans are now able to freely watch the film right from the comfort of their own Netflix account.
