Diddy & DJ Khaled Set To Join As Judges of FOX’s ‘The Four: Battle for Stardom’, Set For January
You’ve probably seen Diddy and DJ Khaled hanging out a lot lately, and here’s why. The two music moguls will be joining as expert panelists for FOX’s newest show, The Four: Battle for Stardom! And, no, this is not a drill. The anticipated six-episode series is a singing competition, which will capture four singers who must fight to hold their spots, as, each week, new challengers arrive to try to knock them out of the running. A move forward from the critically acclaimed, pop culture show, American Idol, The Four: Battle for Stardom will showcase an array of talent like you’ve never seen more. Meghan Trainor and Republic Records Group President Charlie Walk are also set to be on the panel of judges.
“This show is going to disrupt the world of competition television and will revolutionize the format!” Diddy expressed, in a recent statement. “We plan on being the best talent show out there, taking it to that next level and making history again. This series is about pure competition, fighting for your survival. Do you want to win? Do you want to be great? We’re giving fans a genuine look at what it takes to make it to the top and stay there–surrounding these up-and-coming artists with the best, turning them into the next generation of stars.”
As we know, the entertainment industry maven is no stranger to singing competition shows. With over twenty-five years in the music business and even leading the MTV-produced Making the Band series, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a beast at finding the next superstar.
DJ Khaled, on the other hand, is responsible for bringing our latest millennial hits, such as the 2006 hit single, “I’m So Hood”, featuring T-Pain, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, and Plies, and the more recent “Wild Thoughts”, which featured Rihanna and Bryson Tiller.
The Four: Battle for Stardom is hosted by former Black Eye Peas member Fergie and will air January 4th, 2018.
