If you live for music, why not experience it during your vacation time? These days, there are an abundance of ways you can combine the things that you love at the same time. It’s time to get innovative, and to stop going to the same places year after year.

Sin City

Vegas is home to plenty of music experiences, from DJ residencies at day parties while you’re lounging poolside, to big rock concerts like Warped Tour at the exhibition centre, or the Electric Daisy Carnival for EDM fans, which happens annually.

Of course, no visit to Las Vegas would be complete without a trip to the casinos. For music fans, the Hard Rock Hotel seems a pretty good place to start. The slots are 24 hours, so it’s easy to cram in a show (they have everyone from Nine Inch Nails to Lauryn Hill playing here), before having some fun at the resort until the sun comes up.

No experience? No worries. For a music related slotmachine, you can practice before you go thanks to Mr Green. There’s nothing to it, and you’ll get to give the slots a try set to a soundtrack of Guns ‘N Roses – officially named “the most dangerous band in the world” – and therefore a perfect mimic of the Hard Rock’s own casino playlist. Enjoy a “slot festival exploding with cash” as well as some rock ‘n’ rollin’ bonus games.

Music Cruises

These days, you don’t have to travel for the music – the music travels with you. There are now promotion companies that partner specifically with cruise liners to put on music festivals at sea.

Sixthman, for example, are based out of Atlanta – but their roster of music cruises takes fans everywhere from Miami to Mexico, the Caribbean and even the Bahamas. They have everything from the Kiss Cruise to The Rock Boat and even cruises for blues music, Kesha and the pop-rock band Paramore. So, all you’ve to do is store your essentials at a luggage storage in miami and head to Mexico light-weightly and heavy music expectations.

These cruises are a great way to relax and unwind, and they’re not the only company doing it. They can be a great way to see the world by day, and a way to hear your favorite artists, drink some cocktails and make the most of the buffet by night!

Ibiza

If you’re into the club scene, Europe, in general, is a total hotbed of action. However, there’s nowhere better to enjoy the ultimate vacation and party hard at the same time than Ibiza.

Of course, here, it’s all about the DJs and the clubs – which have people from all over the world flocking year after year. Amnesia, Pacha and Space are huge names, but it’s all about the up-and-coming ones too, that you’ll be able to say you were at before they were cool. While a Spanish island is pretty far to venture from the USA, it’s seriously worth the pilgrimage – at least once in your life.

Even if travel has never been your thing before, these music experiences should be enough to make you reconsider.
