Welp! BET has done it again bringing more dope blackness to television and allowing African-Americans to lead the way in the Acting and Film Industry. Bringing ‘Boomerang‘ the TV series as a spin off to the 1992 original movie, Boomerang is the perfect example of what young black men and women are doing in society. The cast of Boomerang features some amazing actors and actresses that brought life to their characters.
Meet The Cast of Boomerang
Leland B. Martin plays ‘Ari Thomas’ the explosive and all-over-the-place type of guy that will definitely tell you like it is. He is also an independent filmmaker and director just trying to find his way in life.

Brittany Inge plays ‘Crystal Garrett’ the boss babe and adventurer who wants more out of life so of course she is willing to take different chances

Tequan Richmond plays ‘Bryson’ who looks up to Marcus Graham and wants to be like him at the agency.

Tetona Jakson plays ‘Simone’ Marcus Graham’s daughter who can be spoiled at times because she is working at her parent’s agency. She is also still trying to find herself in the workforce world as an independent.
RJ Walker plays ‘David Wright’ one of the guys, and friends to Bryson and Ari. He is very disciplined and is trying to embark his journey as a preacher and to stay on the right path.

This show shows the diversity of young and independent Black people and how they can take control to do something spectacular and create goodness! ‘Boomerang’ is produced by the great Lena Waithe who also co-wrote this project alongside with Ben Cory Jones.
