Brittney Taylor Arrested After Throwing Cellphone At Friend
Back in April Remy Ma was accused of assault, for allegedly punching her Love & Hip-Hop co-star Brittney Taylor, 30. Life came full circle for Brittney this past Friday when she was arrested herself, this time for assaulting a friend in her own home.
Brittney and Dina Khalil, 21, were inside Brittney’s lavish apartment at the Atlelier on W. 42nd Street around 7pm Friday evening when an argument erupted. Dina tried to walk out the apartment but Brittney followed her out and onto the elevator where the argument continued. By now we all know nothing good happens on an elevator!
Still, they made it out to the building lobby where the argument reached its tipping point. Brittney allegedly threw her cellphone at Dina, who caught it in the face, on her forehead area. The phone left Dina with a cut, physical evidence of the assault.
Brittney Taylor was arraigned on Friday night and released without bail for charges of assault and harassment. She is expected to return to court on July 8th to enter her plea.
Ironically Brittney and Remy Ma may end up spending time in the same prison if both of their charges stick. Brittney accused Remy of punching her in the face at a charity event on April 16th over a misunderstanding. Remy Ma is still on parole over a previous shooting which cost her 8 years of her freedom. Remy Ma is fighting these charges and hopes to be cleared of all wrongdoing. Brittney was previously reported to say that she wanted Remy Ma to go to prison for the assault.
No word yet and whether Brittney Taylor plans on fighting these charges. The story was first reported by the NY Daily News.
