Have you ever thought about making your own CBD vape oil at home? Making your own vape juice is actually a lot easier than you may realize.

And the benefits of making it at home are vast since you are able to choose your own ingredients so that you get the most out of your CBD vape oil effects. Don’t limit yourself to using only store-bought vape juice.

Keep reading to learn step by step how to blend your own CBD vape oil using top ingredients!

The Proper Ingredients

The first step in making your own CBD vape oil is to gather the proper ingredients. Vape juice is made out of four very basic ingredients. These ingredients are propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, flavor, and in this case CBD instead of nicotine.

Because pure CBD comes in an isolate form, which is typically a white powder, is it not directly soluble in the vegetable glycerin. To be able to properly combine these ingredients, you’ll want to mix the CBD isolate and propylene glycol first before adding to the rest of the mix.

This is why it is recommended to buy your propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin separately, instead of buying a pre-made mixture. You’ll also want to purchase the best CBD vape oil from a list of top choices.

And the last ingredient you’ll need is flavor, which is totally up to you and your personal preference.

The Necessary Tools

Aside from the necessary ingredients, you will need a few additional tools to help you mix your concoction. You’ll need to purchase a sterile 30ml glass bottle and a syringe with a blunt tip.

We also recommend wearing gloves just to protect your hands during the process. You will be able to find most of these items at your local vape shop.

Time to Measure

Now you can begin to measure out your ingredients. We recommend a 60-40 ratio of propylene glycol to vegetable glycerin. This will help to prevent your CBD isolate from recrystallizing into its original form.

Using the 30ml glass bottle, you’ll want to measure out 18ml of propylene glycol and 12ml of vegetable glycerin. Any flavoring you decide to add will likely be propylene-based so you’ll want to subtract that amount from the 18ml.

When it comes to CBD, we recommend adding roughly 500mg to start. Don’t stress too much about getting the measurements exactly perfect and feel free to play around to see what you personally like best.

Get to Mixing

As mentioned above, it’s best to mix the CBD with the propylene glycol and flavoring first. Pour these ingredients into your glass bottle and stir for a minute or so.

Then you can take your bottle and place it in a container with hot liquid for 5 or so minutes or leave it overnight until the CBD isolate has dissolved. Once the CBD has dissolved, add in your vegetable glycerin and you are ready to go!

Enjoying Your Own CBD Vape Oil

Now that you have finished this process, you are ready to enjoy your own CBD vape oil and the many benefits of CBD. Play around with different flavors and concentrations to find what fits your personal needs.
