In what’s probably the feel good story in R&B this month, Jacquees is definitely turning lemons into lemonade. The singer received mixed reactions for his extended riffs on his rendition of the National Anthem at a Lakers game a couple weeks ago. The rendition was then remixed by a music producer and released on social media with images that really spoke to the Black culture and happy, joyous times. The post began trending and in no time it got back to Jacquees. Now we have the Jacquees Land of the Free single, produced by DJ IMarkkeyz and featuring 2 Chainz.
