This April, BET+ is set to premiere a new original film. The upcoming Trophy Wife movie stars Erica Peeples and Sean Patrick Thomas in a triller. The Megamind Production premieres on April 28th on the streaming service.
Megamind Productions has released a few other BET+ films, including recent releases Dear Best Friend and A Rich Christmas.

Synopsis
Erica Peeples stars as Toni, who has a complete breakdown and ends up in a mental facility after the unexpected news that her husband was murdered, and that’s she’s been falsely accused. She must now fight to clear her name and figure out who betrayed her husband, played by the one and only Sean Patrick Thomas.
Erana Tyler, Tiffany Black and Tray Chaney also appear in the film, among others.
Trophy Wife is directed by Christian Sesma and the screenplay was written by Lori Conway Ray.
