Kanye is suspended from Instagram for bullying Pete Davidson, DL Hughley, Michael Chen and, more specifically, Trevor Noah.
Kanye, also known as Ye, hasn’t been taking his divorce from Kim Kardashian well, so he’s been using Instagram to vent (and bully). Yesterday was his most recent case of venting (and bullying). Kanye made a series of posts on Instagram directly targeting Pete Davidson, Kim’s new boyfriend, DL Hughley, Michael Chen and Trevor Noah.
While the posts about Pete Davidson and DL Hughley were pretty intense, Kanye’s post about Trevor Noah went against Instagram’s harassment policy.
Ye reworded the Christian song, Kumbaya, by replacing “Kumbaya” with “Koon baya”. Urban Dictionary defines Koon as “a derogatory word used to describe black people/people of African descent/a black person who is anti-black and acts against black people.”
Instagram deemed Kanye’s post as a form of harassment, so Ye has been suspended for 24 hours. CNBC reported:
Kanye West has been suspended from Instagram for 24 hours for breaching the social media network’s harassment policy. West, who goes by “Ye,” will not be able to post, comment or send direct messages for 24 hours. A spokesperson for Meta, which owns Instagram, told CNBC Thursday that West violated the firm’s policies on hate speech and bullying and harassment. Meta, which did not disclose the details of the post, said further action could be taken against West if he continues to offend in the future.
Trevor Noah criticized Kanye’s behavior by warning people that the situation could turn violent based on his own experience with domestic violence as a child, according to The Daily Beast. Since the situation with Kanye and Kim Kardashian has many layers, social media is divided on if Kanye is abusive or being protective. There’s also a lot of love being shown to Trevor Noah.
saw someone talk about how if Kim K, with all the money and resources in the world, can’t safely and simply divorce her husband without being harassed and stalked, then it’s about time we stop asking women in domestic violence situations the question “why doesn’t she just leave?”

Trevor Noah is actually telling the truth. I don’t understand why Kanye is offended. https://t.co/FJ6R1VQqv6

Kanye’s choices seem to be:
Sit back and enjoy his life while his kids potentially are led down a path celebrity kids go down and never recover from
or
Speak up and be labelled an abuser, stalker, harasser by people who see only side of the story
Tough
